Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to have a great experience with ASKOMM. If something doesn't go as expected, here is how we handle refunds and cancellations.

1. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

  • The astrologer cancels or fails to join the consultation within 5 minutes of the scheduled time.
  • A technical issue on our end (server downtime, app crash) disrupts your session.
  • A product delivered is damaged, defective, or significantly different from the listing.
  • A puja booking is cancelled by the temple or due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • You cancel a service within the eligible window as outlined below.

Refunds are not available for completed consultations where the service was delivered as described, or for wallet top-ups once the balance has been used.

2. Consultation Refunds

Our consultation refund policy ensures fairness for both seekers and astrologers:

For instant (walk-in) consultations, if you disconnect within the first 30 seconds, no charges apply.

3. Product Returns (Gemstones & Spiritual Items)

We stand behind the quality and authenticity of every product sold on ASKOMM:

  • Products can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
  • Gemstones must be returned with the authenticity certificate and original seal intact.
  • Blessed or consecrated items (energized rudraksha, puja prasad) cannot be returned due to their sacred nature.
  • Custom or personalized items (engraved rings, custom malas) are non-returnable.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the item was damaged during shipping or incorrect.

4. Refund Process

Here is how the refund process works from request to resolution:

  • Step 1: Submit a refund request via the app (Orders → Select Order → Request Refund), email refunds@askomm.com, or call +91 98765 43210.
  • Step 2: Our team reviews your request within 24 hours and may ask for additional details.
  • Step 3: Once approved, refunds to the ASKOMM wallet are processed within 2–4 hours.
  • Step 4: Refunds to original payment method (bank/card/UPI) take 5–7 business days.

You will receive a confirmation email and in-app notification at each stage of the refund process.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel services at any time, subject to the following conditions:

  • Scheduled Consultations: Cancel at least 30 minutes before the session for a full refund. Late cancellations receive a 50% refund.
  • Puja Bookings: Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled puja for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours receive a 75% refund.
  • Subscription Plans: Cancel at any time. Your subscription benefits continue until the current billing cycle ends. No pro-rated refunds.
  • Wallet Balance: Unused wallet balance can be withdrawn to your bank account, subject to a processing fee of 2% (min ₹10).

If a puja or event is cancelled by the temple or organizer, you will receive a full refund plus priority rebooking for the next available date.

We aim to resolve all refund requests amicably and within the timelines stated above. Your satisfaction is our priority.
